Anamika was born is Bangalore India. She started painting at a young age and is a self-taught artist.
The incredible colors in nature give her immense inspiration and happiness, which are the foundation of her paintings.
The mediums she works in are Oil, Acrylic, Pastels and
Mixed Media, she is drawn to warm, bright colors. Her style is more Realistic but has now started experimenting with Abstract art.
She has lived in India, UAE and Canada before moving to picturesque Oman in 2010.
Having enjoyed a professional career in the Airline Industry with Malaysian Airlines and Emirates, her passion for painting remained mostly as a hobby until the aspiration to become a career Artist prompted her to attend workshops at Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) Toronto,Canada. With the encouragement and support from her family she has been successful in following her dream and passion.
